Are you working on an innovative space technology concept? Do you have a novel hardware or software system for space applications? We invite students and student teams to showcase their work at the Student Innovations in SpaceTech workshop, where cutting-edge student-led advancements in flight hardware, flight software, and space systems will take center stage.
This workshop is an exciting opportunity to present your designs, gain valuable feedback from industry professionals, and connect with fellow students, researchers, and potential mentors.
Why Participate?
Present Your Work – Deliver a lightning presentation on your innovative space technology project.
Gain Experience – Participate in workshops led by industry experts, featuring cutting-edge tools and techniques in space systems engineering.

Student Scholarship
We are pleased to offer a limited number of student scholarships to support participation in the Space Mission Challenges for Information Technology (SMC-IT) and Space Computing Conference (SCC). Each scholarship provides $500 toward conference registration for selected student applicants.
This opportunity is intended to help students engage with the space technology and computing community, attend technical sessions, connect with researchers and professionals, and broaden their exposure to current work in the field.

V&V Workshop Call For Papers
❗️DEADLINE: May 23, 2026 ❗️
Both the avionics and software used in space missions are growing significantly more complex and the verification and validation (V&V) of these systems is growing more difficult and costly. There is a growing need for new approaches to V&V that meet the challenges of enabling flight certification in a timely and cost-effective manner. This workshop focuses on the verification and validation of software and hardware systems for space with emphasis on processes, engineering methodologies, and tools to enable space flight certification of these systems.
The workshop will have a mix of both invited speakers and reviewed papers. The reviewed papers will appear in the SMC-IT/SCC conference proceedings.
